About the Festival
The Mumbai World Cinema Festival is a prestigious international film festival and awards platform dedicated to celebrating excellence in cinema, creativity and storytelling from around the world.
Unlike traditional single-location festivals, MWCF is envisioned as a nationwide movement across India — carrying Mumbai, the heart of Indian cinema, as its primary identity while opening its doors to filmmakers from every corner of the globe.
Every frame carries a country, a language, a life. We exist so those frames find an audience.
